I understand the dock is discontinued, but I have a question about it's operation.
I'd like to know if an iphone docked in the sonos dock can be used to play music not in the iphone music library on linked sonos PLAY:5.
It's unclear whether the phone goes into "accessory mode" when docked or whether the UI on the docked phone is usable.
Further, if the phone is not locked into an accessory mode when docked, it is also unclear whether I can distribute audio from applications vs just music from the included music application on the phone.
I don't care about accessing music loaded onto the phone via itunes from other controllers, I just care about being able to play Pandora on the docked phone and having it come out the sonos speakers.
Thanks!
