Although the new Android controller app has added some very nice features, it has also introduced something that is driving me nuts!
It seems whenever I leave the controller app a SONOS icon remains in my notification bar that simply will not go away! I understand the idea that it gives easy access to resuming a paused song or playlist that I may have been in the middle of, but there does not seem like any way to cancel the notification. I find the only solution is to go into system settings, applications, SONOS, and then force quit the app...
Note I do not want to to disable notifications altogether for this app since I would like this easy access sometimes. There just really NEEDS to be a way to disable the notification and or quit the app. Perhaps just add an 'X' to he drop down that is expanded when I swipe down on the notification that will quit the app- this is how BeyondPod handles this and it is, IMO, a perfect solution to this issue..
