I've had my music stored on a NAS for awhile now. Recently my wife has started using the NAS to store mp4 videos, which she does in a different folder than the music.
Now since the Sonos currently points to the root folder on the NAS, the mp4's are showing up in the track lists. I'm already bumping the track limit and having a bunch of movie files count toward this limit is a problem. There is also no other practical place to store the mp4s except on the NAS.
My question is this, I would like to move the Sonos music share down one level, instead of looking in /public, look in /public/shared music, will this affect the playlists? Currently I have about 8,000 tracks in various finely-honed playlists, rebuilding these from scratch would be a Sisyphean task.
Changing the share is easy enough, but I thought I'd better ask here before I wiped everything out.
