Not being a fan of how Sonos handles playlists I build my own and import them into the music library.
One small niggle I've noticed though is that if I run "Update Music Library now" on my PC controller, that playlist update isn't seen if I then go to my Android controller. To get it I have to run the update from that controller too.
Just wondering why that would be? Everything else is instantly mirrored between controllers e.g. change the queue, volume etc. Do the controllers store a local version of the library? If so then that would be a real pain if you have a large Sonos system with many controllers.
Edit: Thinking about it, it's probably the Sonos devices that are storing the library index. So, in my instance, where my PC controller happens to be associated with one device and the Android controller another, those two devices are out of sync.
So, supplementary questions: Will the devices resync themselves (I'd hope the answer is yes) and if so, how long would this normally take? Would having both controllers associated to the same device help and is doing this as simple as resetting one controller and choosing the same device as the other one by using the device buttons?
