OK, so I got a good deal on a Connect Amp. I've been wanting to test my ceiling speakers for a while. Before I hooked up those I thought I'd try out my boxed up speakers and sub with the Amp.
I set up a 2.1 system with 2 Jamo s413 speakers (4 inch woofers) and Jamo s210 sub (only an 8 inch, 200 watt). After a bit of adjusting with the sub, I can't believe the sound.
I'm not big on bass but I do like hearing the low end when I'm supposed to. Even Van Morrison's songs missed a little low end. Same with some rock songs - Eminence Front by the Who and the Wallflowers' Reboot the Mission left me a little wanting.
I thought 2 Play 5's in stereo was good but these little speakers and sub blow me away.
I can't imagine what the Sonos Sub would sound like. A custom installer I buy from said he prefers his 2 Play 5's and Sub to his $20,000 show room set up.
