Sonos Sub for Apartments - Good At Low Levels??

I recently bought a Playbar and am thinking of complimenting it with a Sonos Sub. I live in an apartment and was wondering if I could lower the sub to a very low level that gives some deep sounds without driving my neighbors crazy.

Any one with experience or ideas? Also any suggestions on how I might place or use the sub that might help reduce excess vibrations to my neighbors?
