I have a Home Entertainment system with the SONOS Playbar, Sub, and two Play 3's.
The above configuration "plays movies in Dolby 5.1 great " when the Playbar, Sub and Play3's are configured for 5.1 setup. The problem is that when I want to play music in my home theater room with a 5.1 setup, it does a "subpar job with music "because the rear speakers produce barely any sound. There is a work around that makes all speakers sound awesome, but it requires delinking the rears and sub from the playbar and making those one group and then group it with the playbar as two separate speaker systems. This is very time consuming because the speakers have to be reset up if you want to listen to TV in Dolby 5.1 again.
Request SONOS add smart logic in the controller so that if you have a 5.1 setup with playbar, sub and play 3's that the system auto configures for music to pump out greater volume like the play 3s and sub configuration noted above when anything other than TV is selected from the controller.
