Problem with Connect:Amp

I recently purchased several Sonous components, including a couple of Play:5s, a Bridge, a Connect, and a Connect:Amp. The Play:5s work great, but I've got a problem with the Connect:Amp. It is hooked up wirelessly to the Bridge. I have a set of speakers hooked up to the amplified speaker outputs, but I cannot get any sound out of the equipment. Worse yet, the indicator light on the front of the unit is flashing alternately short white and a longer amber.

Looking at the Sonos website, I unplugged/plugged the unit, muted/ unmuted, checked for shorts in the speaker line, all to no avail. Does anyone have an idea of what the problem is and what I can do to about it?
