Hi,
I'm struggling for quiet some time to connect my Sonos Bridge to my network.
I'm using an ASUS RT-N56U Router to connect to the internet, which works fine.
In the Router's menu I can see that the Bridge has been assigned an IP and I can also see the Bridge's MAC address.
The Bridge is connected via an Ethernet cable to the Router and is blinking green and white simultaneously. I'm starting the Sonos software on my Win7 64bit and push the connect button as suggested.
Now the green and white LED are blinking alternately for some 20 seconds and then blink simultaneously again.
After the Sonos Setup Assistant has run out of its 2 minutes time, it says "not connected" your Sonos component was not found and so on.
Now, I only use Winows firewall, and Sonos is not blocked. I've tried a different Ethernet cable, no change. I'm wondering what's left, as my Router does identify the Bridge, but the software cannot connect to it - so what is it that prevents it to do so?
I'm trying to connect for 6 weekends and I'm slowly losing motivation. I've bought two Play 3s and they are standing uselessly on my shelf. If anyone has a solution, please help!
