Hello. I've had my Sonos system (Playbar and Sub) for a few days now. Everything works great; super fast setup, no dropouts whatsoever and most importantly great sound. I'm having a minor issue that hopefully can be quickly remedied. When my Dell PC powers down, the Sonos system loses connectivity (no sound) and the Sonos iPad app locks up. If I close down the Sonos iPad app and reopen it, it says "Searching for your Sonos system, ensure you are within range of your wireless network". When I restart my Dell PC, everything reconnects and works fine. Any idea how I can keep my Sonos system functioning without keeping the Dell PC powered on?
(Obviously, if I were accessing audio files on the Dell PC, I would expect audio to stop when the PC powers down, but this also happens when accessing audio files directly from the iPad.)
Here is the path of my wireless network:
Cable ->
Cisco eMTA ->
Netgear WNR1000 v2 (Home Security Router) ->
D-Link DIR825 (Home Wireless Router)
The Sonos Bridge and Dell PC are both hardwired to the D-Link DIR825. The iPad connects wirelessly to the D-Link DIR825.
Thank you.
