Songs playing in stereo with 2 speakers...help

So I have 2 speakers connected to a connect amp. 1 speaker connected to the right set of bindings and another speaker connected to the left bindings.

Now when a song plays, it plays part of the song through 1 speaker and the rest of the song through the other speaker.

I want the entire song to play out both speakers at the same time.

Do I need to connect the pair of speakers to the same bindings for this?
