Add Sonos controller to laptop

I want to install the Sonos controller on a Win 8 laptop, only to be able to control my system. I do not have any music on the laptop and don't want it to index anything on the laptop.

My main PC is hardwired to the router as is the first Bridge. I have my Itunes cataloged and connected there.

IS this possible?
