After lots of comparing similar offerings and DIY, I have decided to buy a Connect Amp.
Only question I have is can I use the Sonos Amp standalone without any other Sonos product.
My router sits in my office and my Sonos will live in the family room. I have ethernet Cat 6e running throught the house and have a point in the family room. This ethernet point is connected to my router through a couple of switches.
Can I plug in the Sonos Amp to the ethernet socket in my family room and expect it to work with some speakers without any other Sonos devices?
