Connect Samsung TV to Play 5 but no AV out

I own a Samsung LE40c580jlk TV that I want to connect to my new Play 5. I bought the recommended RCA y splitter cable as per the user guide. However, frustratingly, my TV doesnt have the AV OUT sockets so I couldn't use the cable.

How else would you recommend I play sound from the tv out through my Play 5? Eg. Hdmi, or something else?
