Travel with S5+ Ipad+ wifi router

I would like to use S5 when traveling, but still stream from my Ipad trough wifi, even there is not internet connection. Line in is an option, but I wonder if can be setup differently.

Is it possible to use a wifi router, connect the S5 with ethernet cable to the wifi router, connect ipad to the wifi router and stream music from ipad?

any advice on settings ?
