New Sonos setup - playback stops & zones disconnect

Hi,

This is my first post here, a unfortunantly a sad one..

I've invested in a Sonos setup consisting of a 2nd hand ZP90 and 3 PLAY:3's (one of these came with a bridge which i'm not using).

The ZP90 is my wired component, and is placed centrally in my home. A small 87 m2 house.

I'm constantly seeing issues where playback on my zones will stop and they will then disconnect from my system. I have to go and manually add them back to the system. If, when playback stops, i go to my Android Controller i can see that the connection icon is running on the controller and a popup will eventually occur saying that the controller cannot connect to the zone. The zone then disappears from the list..sad panda..

My Sonos is running on channel 1. My wifi on channel 11. I've also done a scan for AP's in my neighbourhood (using inssider for Android) and can only see my next door neighbour running on channel 6. So this is pretty much as good as it gets. I've also disabled 5gHz on my router, and assigned static IP's to all my Sonos players.

I'm a tad bid sad about this. When i bought Sonos, i was told that it was easy to set up and stable. Right now, i have major issues just keeping playback running for 30 minutes at a time.

Anyone with any ideas as to what i can try?

Sonos Support of course says that the problem is wireless interference, but i cannot see how my simple setup can cause so much interference...

Any ideas?

Thanks so much :)
