Just gotten my Play:3's in. Though being impressed with the sound for it's size, I wasn't completely convinced of it's sound.
I positioned them sideways, due to space constraints.
When noticing the rubber feet, which I consider a no-no as the speaker will move with the movement of the bass, I decided to turn them upside down.
I have no idea what this does to the accelerometer and speaker-configuration.
The result is definitely a sound with a touch more definition and a more defined bass. Mids also appear a more clear.
Obviously, putting them the right side up and putting them on spikes seem the way to go.
Anyone with any experience in this field?
