It would be really cool if you could open up the Android and iOS Sonos apps with particular parameters in order to trigger a certain action.
Currently, if I am in the kitchen I might open my iPad, run Sonos, wait for it to find my network, change the room to kitchen, select music->imported playlists and finally play my chosen playlist.
All of this is easy enough, but still takes quite a few clicks.
It would be so much nicer to have a few shortcuts on my device which trigger playback in a particular room. A single click and instant music!
In iOS it is possible to have some web links open in an app instead of Safari. For example, YouTube links used to open the now deprecated YouTube app.
In Android I would imagine there is much more scope for similar mechanisms.
So, any idea if this is possible?
