For your info.. :D
If you want to use your server as source, follow these steps and you'll be fine.
1. On the server
In the server.app goto Users
Add user, eg "Sonos_client"
Empty , or not, the email address provided
Select the "User allowed to login" box
Then select in the pulldownbar "only services" option
(This wil prevent the creation of a home folder, no need for that)
Then click ok.
User is created, then rightclick on the user and select "change the access to services"
Deselect everything, or not, but the filesharing... ;)
Click ok, your done herre.

2. Also on the server
In the server.app goto filesharing
Create share, eg "Sonos"
Select the box "share by SMB"
Deselect or not "AFP" (Not needed, no effect for this purpose)
Deselect or not "Make available for "WebDav"
Then in the "Access box" add the preveous created user
Check the accesrichts, set them to read only.

Youre don here.

Now go the the Sonos App, and goto prefs
There select the Musiclib.
Then goto the Folder section and hit the + sign
Select " on network device "such as NAS" etc.
Click Next
The following is simple, just feed in the path and your done.
The way to do this is as follows:

\\YOURSERVERNAME\Share_name

The servername must be in cap's. Thats how SMB shares folders.
Then give username and password, Sonos will add the share to its MusicLab.
Finally go to the Advanced section and set it so that it forfills your needs.
(regarding the way to treat the sorting etc. Not vip)
That's it, your set to go.

htha, good work.!

Final note , still no DI with direct account acces available. (Digitally Imported) That's a shame.
