I never quite understood the surround sound theory if the room isn't really big. If everyone's not near the center of the two rear speakers ,you can't hear the other rear speaker.
This seems like the typical case. I have always sat next to one rear speaker.
In a small apartment especially with no large rear separation of speakers,wouldn't it make sense to have one play 3 behind in center versus to play ones ?
A play bar is in the front also.
Or in this case should playbar standalone
