Sonos was unable to add the music folder

Hey all,
Scoured the boards and tried many. many suggestions. I cannot get my iTunes library to sync up with the sonos desktop controller.
I have an iMac 10.6.8 I'm running the latest iTunes software and latest Sonos software. My Library was working at some point for a short time, but now I cannot get it working.

Error is:
Sonos was unable to add the music folder
The computer "Macintosh HD" is not responding
