My entire Sonos system (save for the bridge) is dead at the moment after 14 months of no major issues.
About 3 weeks ago the Android tablet in our kitchen couldn't connect to the Sonos system. I tried resetting the device/bridge but it couldn't connect. It's been on my list to fix and just got to it today . . .
I reset the controller and can find the bridge but the 3 Sonos 3 speakers (the small ones?) and a 5 (the bigger one) can't be found when I try to add other devices. They connect wirelessly.
I replaced the bridge (had an extra), same issue. I switched channels on the bridge from 11 to 2, same issue.
I moved the bridge away from the router in case there was same interference and finally connected one of the speakers directly to the bridge via ethernet cable to rule out wireless. The speaker just blinks a white light and there's no light on the mute button.
I can see that speaker is getting an IP address from the DHCP server (wifi router) but I'm at a loss as to what to try next.
I don't think anything's changed in the home network but I did go around an unplug extra things in case there was some random radio interference (Kinect, Wii, etc.).
Like I said, I haven't had any real issues with my Sonos until now. I did check for updates on the Sonos app (on my Mac) and it says that I'm up to date. When I switched out the bridge it did get an update but same issue.
Any ideas on what to check here?
