help setting up System with Time capsule and ATT internet

I just got a sonos system after reading lots about the best way to pipe music all around my house but am having problems getting it working correctly.

I have ATT internet via a 2wire gateway router. I just bought a time capsule and have an external USB drive plugged into that with my music on in.

I have a sonos bridge plugged into the ATT router and a sonos Play 3.

Also have an Iphone and Ipad to work as controlers.

I want to have access to my music even when my MacBook is not at home so want to host the music on the external drive hooked up to the time capsule. Every thing I have read looks like it should work but I cant get it all to work at once.

I wonder if my time capsule and ATT router are competing with each other?

Do I even need the TC to make this work?




Any tips would be greatly appriciated.

I see many threads with very simular topics but just have not been able to make my whole system work yet.
