Hi all,
I have eight Sonos Connects which I am intending to supply music to 32 speakers. These speakers will be divided into the 8 zones (so, four speakers per zone).
I am using four Yamaha IPA8200 8-channel amps to power the 32 speakers.
These are in a large, 10,000 square foot warehouse-type facility which lends itself perfectly to eight listening zones.
The forum won't let me post my diagram until my third post, so I will attempt a re-post then.
I have a few questions about this configuration:
1) What happens when I try to group my Sonos' together? Will the amps struggle to keep volume, levels, etc.?
2) Is there any advantage in a Zektor Clarity Audio switcher?
3) I'd like to add four subwoofers, which could (ideally) be assigned to groups dynamically, but at a minimum, assigned to play when grouped all together. How do I mate a subwoofer amp into this system? (NOTE: I do NOT want to use a Connect AMP with a Sonos SUB for this)
4) Anything else I'm not considering?
