Hello everyone! I've been investigating purchasing the Sonos Soundbar and wanted to make sure I understand how all this works.
My wife and I just bought our first house and would like to have music in a couple different rooms. We're going to start with the soundbar (without the sub) and slowly add the pieces over time.
My music is currently on my desktop computer (playing through iTunes) which is on 99% of the time meaning I should not have any issues playing my music. (I understand that a NAS system would be better and will be looking towards adding that later.) I will need to get the Bridge to wirelessly connect the soundbar to play music from my computer. I'm assuming there is a Sonos program for my computer to know where my music is stored?
As I add Play3 speakers around the house, all I'll need to do is plug it into an outlet and because I have the bridge they will all be connected and will be able to stream music, correct?
And if I want to add speakers outside (nothing exists right now) I'll need to get the Connect:Amp to both power the outdoor speakers and transmit them wirelessly as well?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm just a little confused by all of it. I'm going to the store this weekend to look at the soundbar for the first time, so I'm excited to see how it looks and sounds. Thanks everyone!
