Problem connecting bridge and Connect

Yesterday I bought a new Sonos system consisting of a Bridge and a Connect. I intend to link my Connect to my Bose Soundbar, but up to now I have been unable to connect my components. I hope you can help me with this.

I connected the bridge to my router using a wire, but the bridge could not be found. When I also wire-connected my laptop to the bridge, the bridge was found. After that, I unplugged the cable from the laptop to the bridge (but the bridge is still wired to the router).

To me, this suggests that my router settings are the cause of the problem. I looked online and found two things I could try: First, I made sure my wired and wireless network were not separated. Second, I tried to check whether my router operates in 108 or 54 Mbps mode, but I could not find it. I have a Linksys E2000

On the other hand, my Sonos software sees the bridge, which implies (I guess) it was installed correctly. Also my linksys sees the bridge, and an IP address was assigned. So I also tried to connect my Connect by pressing vol up and mute. The leds alternate, but the Connect is not found. It's not connected using a cable because I want to use it wirelessly.

I am kinda at a loss here. What can I do?

Thanks for your help.
